Maximus. Multi-blade rewind crush slitter.

What it is. Maximus is a rewind crush slitter that slits large-diameter rolls of fabric, gasket material, rubber, foam, fiberglass, Nomex, and other non-adhesive materials.

How it works. Install the master roll of material on the rear shaft. Install an empty rewind core on the front shaft. Thread the material from the master roll, through the rollers, and onto the empty rewind core (an application of double-sided adhesive makes this easy). Set the cutting heads at the desired cutting widths. Press the "Lower Cutting Bar" button. Slowly turn the rewind dial. The master roll begins rolling through the cutting bar, is slit at precise widths, and is recovered onto the rewind core.
